so beths birthday party last nite was totally crazy, and my favorite party ever, i think. its such a blur and i feel totally crappy today -- and i wasnt even one of the drunk ones! i can't begin to tell you all the funny stuff that happened, but i'll try to remember some:

*fred and richie brought beth french fries as a present and demanded "do you love it?! EAT IT!" im so glad to see people that love 'stella' as much as we do!

*fred decided that since i got a lapdance at my birthday party in march from someone, it would be funny if i got one at every party, no matter whose party it is. richie wanted to, too. then beth got her birthday lapdances from them both. then richie gave MY MOM a lapdance. actually, it was more like all of us pushing my mom in a chair even though she was screaming, "erin, let me go! i'm going to kill you!" and richie sitting on her lap while he told me he was my new dad and to "get the crap out of here" and go to my room because he and my mom needed "private time" together. did i mention how much richie had to drink last nite? IT RULED. everyone was throwing dollar bills on their lap and my mom just sat there turning red and telling me she was going to get me, and richie just kept telling me not to talk back.

*todd the puppeteer showed up unexpectedly to do a TOTALLY surprise show! we got to see the marionettes perform 'hansel and gretel' and i think everyone *loved* the show. there were some great lines, like "i must eat a child or i'll expire!" and "don't you know how hot an oven should be to cook your own brother?" professor wolfgang is a wonderful storyteller, and todd is a wonderful man. true dat.

*fred's obsession with opening my underwear drawer and letting my underwear hang over so that they are in plain view of everyone who walks into my room got way out of hand yesterday. it ended up with him throwing handfuls of my underwear in the air like he was trying to surprise me with confetti, andy taking off all his clothes (except his tie) to wear my black underwear with hot pink skulls, a pink corset and a headband that says 'funky cold medina' on it, richie hiding my underwear in the microwave, and fred throwing some up in the tree outside. i was so mad! but i know if it was happening to anyone else, i would have been laughing SO HARD.

it was very great. thanks to everyone who came over to party with us, and i hope i am not forgetting anyone: todd, johncap + his girl, greg the bunny, andrew, andy, cliff, tony, deck dave, angie + mailman, amy + matt, jon, lonn, nick, sean, cristian, dave, justin, john, richie, fred, abbie, zak, emily, josh, courtney, larry, adam, and our families. whoohoo!

tonite my friend thai asked me to define what love is. as cliche as that sounds...its also really hard to explain. the best that i could do was say that its when you realize that you've been missing something all along, and then your heart finally feels whole. you might THINK you are alrite, but then you realize what you were missing out on and it makes you wonder how you ever got along without it. does that make sense?
