so here's the thing. i'm requesting your help.

did i mention already that beth and i are getting a radio show at school? well, we are. we went for our interview last week and it went well. we have to start our aprenticeship classes soon, and probably before school starts up again we will have it. i'm not sure about a time slot yet, but i'll post more when i know it. beth and i decided to call our show "hot trash." not that this has much to do with music, but more because an ex-boyfriend of beth's was often described as smelling like hot trash and i thought it was a good name for a rock show. we will be playing all the rocknroll you can possibly handle...from the early 50s stuff that no one wants to play on the radio anymore these days right up to now. you WILL hear motorhead. you want some swingin neckbreakers? you got it. i already have the perfect song by gary "us" bonds.

HOWEVER: i would really like it if you suggested some more rockin bands/songs to me. give me things to download or look for in the record store. tell me some things you love. some of my most favorite music of all time was at the suggestion or influence of other people. it would help if it fits the format of the show...but even that is really open, as it covers rocknroll and its many subgenres (alternative, punk, indie, etc).
