one nite i went to see the mooney suzuki with amy. all nite long i kept feeling dizzy because i was so tired, and i kept losing my balance while we stood there watching the show. when i got home and was walking up the little stone walkway to the sugar shack, i just fell over for no good reason. i dropped a bunch of stuff i was carrying and just fell over onto the lawn of our neighbor. luckily, amy watched the whole thing happen. i can only imagine how great it must have looked. it was completely RIDICULOUS.
beth and i spent another nite hanging out in a sports bar until 2am with one of our english teachers. this is odd for two obvious reasons, one being that we don't hang out in sports bars, EVER, and the other that we don't normally hang out with our teachers IN said sports bars. it was very funny and we covered topics such as graveyards, who is gay and not gay, and why english classes should be taught by puppets.
speaking of puppets, i went with beth and amy to todd the puppeteer's house for dinner a few weeks ago. it was lovely and the couple that he lives with were great. their house is from the early 1800's and sitting in their backyard made us feel like we were in the real people version of "alice in wonderland." we listened to classical music while we played bocce ball (beth and i, "team ghostworld", beat amy and todd, "the michael jacksons") and we listened to elvis while we ate dinner. it ruled. there were stories to tell about everything in the house! the table where we ate was a long wooden table that was 400 years old and used to belong to monks.
me and my brother mike worked at warped tour the other day. it wasn't as bad as i was expecting it to be. we were at the alternative press booth again, signing people up for subscriptions and handing out all the free stuff that fanscape gave us. i got to see tiger army, half of the casualties, and lars and the bastards. my brothers even got me a signed poster that says "to erin, lars frederikson." i think that's the only nice thing they've ever done for me. ha. i was really tired by the end of the day, but i didn't mind it so much. at least it was free.
other things going on include seeing "napoleon dynamite" a 5th time - with a bonus scene at the end! - last nite with my friend little matt (who is so silly) and having a pizza and record party with johnny (who will hopefully be farting soon, FOR REAL). we will find out on saturday if we won the elvis trip to graceland. cross your fingers for us!
i guess that is all.
xoxo
