what a crazy life it's been lately! too much to do, not nearly enough time.

we got our hot trash shirts the other day. they are so neat. everybody wants one and that is soo nice! we gave one to mr. rottyman at a show last nite and he put it on right away and wore it all nite. russ romance was in town, and he demanded, "where's MY hot trash shirt?!?" mags and beth will be getting theirs in the mail soon, so jeff can sport his at the dead boys show for the cbgb's benefit at the end of the month. half of the feelers left our house this morning with shirts they actually asked for. it's funny to me people act like they want them. hehe. here are some pictures of me and beth modeling our new shirts while i am dressed as a trucker and she is dressed as michael jackson: hot trash shirts for the cool kids!

speaking of mags and hot trash, he sent us some of the cutest emails the other day as well. first he dedicated "i'll be true to you" by the monkees to me and beth while we were doing our show. haha. he went on to say: "you young people scare the hell outta me sometimes with yer selections. You have the best radio show, to me anyways...please just don't forget me when y'all are cleveland's most happening dj's and every jerkface comes into studio your way...." ha! he also claimed that he was going to tell his friend that does the "creamy fist" mag about our show, and he claimed that hot trash is "affecting NYC." he is so nice to us, it makes my heart want to burst!

i'm sorry that all i can talk about is hot trash, but it's really the most exciting thing i've got going for me. pete yorko and his one man music band played on the show last weekend. he was great. we had to ghetto-rig his equipment but it turned out ok in the end. i was talking to one of the guys in the black halos and we almost got them to play on the show, but it looks like it won't work out when they are in town in september. bummer. but denyss halo at least offered to call the show and say hey on the air the nite before they are set to play cleveland. i love hot trash.

one day at work i bought an awesome old bike! haha it is old and orange and ugly and great. i love it. when i ride it, i pretend i am bill in "it" and i want to yell, "hi yo silver! AWAY!" but it is not silver and i am not an 11-year-old boy with a stutter and my town is not being plagued by a shape-changing evil that has existed since the beginning of time. at least, i don't think so. still, i've always wanted a neat old bike.

another day when beth hated her life, i convinced her to drink a bud lite with her lunch. it didn't work, but it was still the best.

i had such a long, tiring, EXCITING rocknroll weekend. thursday was DANKO JONES and it was soooooooooo gooooooood. ohmygosh. all i could say to beth was "why isn't everyone here?!?" they are heavy, loud, catchy rocknroll and the singer is hilarious and awesome. i am going to support feowyn's claim that any band with a black guy in it is automatically better, and multiply that times ten when it is danko jones the man the myth the legend that we are talking about. it was probably one of my most favorite live shows EVER. dang. it was so fun. friday was PEELANDER-Z. beth finally got to see what i was talking about, and my brothers came along as well. one time when they were teaching us the dance to do to the song "dragon," i turned around and caught my brother chris doing it. when he saw me point at him, he got embarassed and stopped. it was the best. i love how the singer always calls us "clevelando." the highlight of the nite was when greg the bunny got sour cream all over his hand, and then proceeded to high-five the singer as me, beth and ryan all yelled "GREG, NO!" in a feeble attempt to stop him. peelander yellow just pretended to lick it off his hand and told us he loved it. what a sport. i took a picture with peelander blue, my pretend boyfriend, so i can't wait to see that. saturday nite was the FEELERS/KRUNCHIES show. what a big party! i liked it. the party continued over at the sugar shack with me, beth, amy, greg the bunny, fil, the feelers (well, 3/5 of them anyway) and the krunchies (3/4 of em). we played telephone without even trying. we stayed up all nite long. we played the "saved by the bell" board game. we watched the state. we made dan do fart sit-ups. what fun! jon told great bedtime stories about feet, and showed us how he sleeps standing up. aleks and jon played a game where they threw coins at dans butt while he slept. in the morning he admitted he never felt a thing, but he was a little richer because of it. it was a fun nite. everyone made me laugh and everyone was real nice. it was a good weekend.

yay!

xoxo
